The only fault I can say about this yard is that I didnot discover it sooner. Excellent owner who is dedicated to horse welfare and management, who also has caring and capable staff. Whatever your riding skills Rachels teaching ability can cope with it and provide you with things to work on to improve your ability.

A lovely yard to be on. Smashing staff who are always on hand whether to give advice or offer a friendly chat. Lessons given by Rachel are always fun but educational and her knowledge seems to surpass anything we've had before. All the liveries get on well and it is such a friendly atmosphere to be part of. Think you would find it hard to find a nicer place to be!

Great yard I’m so glad I moved my horse here. They really care about the horses and what’s best for them. If I can’t get there for a few days I don’t have to worry about my mare I know she’ll be taken care of. It’s really friendly with a good atmosphere, a lovely place to spend time.

I would highly recommend Gamston Wood Stables it's very welcoming all the staff and Rachel are amazing and also willing to help you with your horse and your horses are very well looked after definitely recommend

A fantastic yard with professional and caring staff along with supportive, friendly liveries. Horses are looked after to a high standard and my horse has really thrived on this yard and is really settled and content. There is no yard politics which makes spending time with your horse relaxing and enjoyable. Always someone to hack out with and the arena is fab in all weathers as well as plenty of clinics and lessons. I feel so lucky to have found this yard.

Fabulous yard, fabulous staff, excellent grazing, lovely hacking. My 25 year old mare is thriving there. All the stress of DIY is taken away and I only have to worry about when I can ride!

I would definitely recommend this yard. The staff are amazing and take such great care of all horses, definite 5 star service. Everyone is so friendly and there is always someone to hack out with if that is what you are looking for. The hacking is absolutely amazing, allowing for the option of both field hacking and road hacking also on quiet roads. Thank you Gamston livery for your amazing facilities and service you provide!

Excellent service, lovely staff, friendly atmosphere.
I have kept my mare at a few yards over the years and can honestly say that the service that Rachel and her team provide at Gamston surpasses anything before. My mare is settled and happy, her diet and weight are controlled, shoeing is looked after by the yard and anything out of the ordinary with my mare is flagged up with me straight away.
The atmosphere is unique – there are lots of different types of riders doing lots of different things with their horses but there's no bitching, instead everyone is inclusive and encouraging. What a refreshing change!
It's rare that spaces come available and I think that speaks for itself. I can highly recommend Gamston Wood Livery.
