Best yard based in Epsom.
Excellent 5 star well maintained facilities and staff that treat horses like their own.
Family managed yard and they honestly go over and above.
Livery tailored to suit Indv horses needs.
Happy horses.
Excellent hacking.
Other liveries are lovely (no gossiping or drama).
I’ve been on and know most of the yards in Surrey – Woodruffe is fabulous and I am fussy!

I have had my pride and joy at Woodruffe since Aug 2020. It was a huge move for me as I had been at my previous yard for more than 20 years, so it was a very anxiety inducing risk for me to take. A year and a half later…. it was the best move I could have made! My horse is so happy and the care and attention he gets could not be faulted. The winter turnout was half a day this year which has proved ample for my horse, and much better than my previous yard which had months and months of no turnout at all! Zoe, her parents and the team are wonderful as are all the staff, always friendly and smiling. Nothing is ever too much trouble and if you want something, you just have to ask and Zoe will accommodate if she can. The hacking and facilities are first class, with 2 beautiful schools and access right onto the downs with minimal road work (just 2 easy road crossings). No yard is ever perfect, but the team have worked hard to ensure this one is as close to that as possible.

Absolutely beautiful yard with fabulous facilities! The team are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and nothing is too much bother for them. There are also clinics and lessons available by wide range of instructors so there is something for everyone.
Both the stables and turn out fields are first class, so I can rest easy knowing that my boy is extremely well looked. Can't recommend Woodruffe enough!

I moved to woodruffe stables earlier this year. My horse settled very quickly. The people are really friendly and the care is meticulous. Very fun sociable yard and very carefully managed. They are there to give advice or not, as you need. Facilities great. Fabulous hacking on Epsom downs. Excellent clinics held and many activities. Very careful management when issues arise in the area eg covid 19, strangles. What more could you need?!
