A lovely yard with exceptional service and support. The facilities are excellent and the level of care provided is outstanding. The staff are attentive and the managers generously offer their time and support. It’s what I value most, for both me and my horses, feeling welcomed and genuinely cared for. The gallops are such an amazing bonus!!

The yard is tucked away in a stunning spot near Dorking and is such a welcoming and supportive team led by Carys and Sophie who go above and beyond to make sure the horses are happy and thriving. There’s a great support network to help reach your goals and they get you to where you want to be with your horse. For me, that meant encouraging and helping me to get out to shows which is what I did last weekend. I’ve been around the block with livery yards and this truly sets the bar.

I have two horses based with Cary’s & Sophie and I have been delighted with how quickly both have settled in and how they are managed. It is incredibly rare to find the wonderful facilities of West Lees combined with the standard of care by the whole of the StrideOut team, whereby you trust wholeheartedly trust every decision they make and that they care for your horse as if their own. Working full time in London and managing a hectic work schedule, I have always struggled to find that perfect balance where I have someone riding my horse with the ability to manage quirky, fit competition horses but also who I can just leave to it. Cary’s and Sophie also allow me to have the flexibility to work around me where my work schedule can change. As someone whose time is limited, I can finally enjoy the time I do get with them to be well spent and my girls have an extremely well managed routine and life!

I feel very lucky that my horse and I are stabled here at West Lees. The facilities are incredible; the arena, the gallops, the lunge pen, the covered walker and plentiful hacking allow me to give my horse such a varied and happy life. Everything is maintained to perfection both internally in the beautiful barn as well as externally with the fields and fencing. Carys and Sophie provide an outstanding level of care that enables both Dippy and I to thrive. It takes me an hour each way to get there but I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I know when I’m not there Dippy is being cared for and worked on in line with the goals we have set. Carys’ lessons are confidence boosting and fun whilst technical and challenging and in a relatively short time I have learnt so much. Support at shows has been invaluable. So far I haven’t come home without a rosette!

Sophie and Carys are the most wonderful people. They care your your horse as if they are their own. The facilities are second to none.

I have recently joined this truly lovely yard with my new horse. I haven’t had horses for 20 years so it was crucial I found a yard which could offer support and guidance having been out the game for so long.

It’s exactly what I was hoping for (and more!) and the facilities are second to none. I am so pleased my lovely boy is stabled here, we are both very happy and I would highly recommend!
